This long-distance hiking route takes you to the highest point of the Massif de Tabe. This is the best-known of the summits, along with the Trout, Devil and Superior lakes.

The Pic du Saint-Barthélemy is one of those emblematic summits that you must climb at least once in your life to appreciate the absolutely breathtaking 360° panorama. It's undoubtedly one of the finest belvederes in the Pyrenees, where from the summit you have a breathtaking view of the entire eastern Pyrenees and the Ariège plain. Despite its modest altitude of 2,348 m, the Saint-Barthélémy peak is nevertheless a magnificent rendezvous that every hiker will want to climb. The route proposed here, although quite long, is of moderate difficulty in the absence of snow.
