Jean-Claude Authié stages the life of the félibresse Raymonde Tricoire.
Born in Dun, Raymonde Tricoire was a school principal in Lavelanet. A bilingual writer, she was above all a poet. Her work is varied: collections of poems, a book of reminiscences crowned by the Académie des Jeux Floraux, tales in keeping with popular tradition, novels in which she brings the region's past to life. "Esclarmonde de Péreille" and "La main d'Urka" are inspired by the work of her husband Jean Tricoire, a professor at Lavelanet College and a historian with a passion for archaeology.
