A leisurely family stroll through the village of Sautel, where you can admire a centuries-old oak tree near the church door.
The village of Le Sautel is made up of four hamlets, fairly far apart: Fouet, le Fajou, le Gréoulou and le Sautel. In 1906, the commune decided to launch a plan to build fountains and wash-houses in each of them, in order to supply water despite their remoteness. This itinerary is a variant of the GR du Pays d'Olmes, linking it to the Douctouyre valley. At the confluence of the Douctouyre and the Sautel streams, the village of Lieurac seems to follow in its own footsteps, with the houses of today resting on its circular shape.
