This beautiful hike takes you through a magnificent fir forest extending over 1000 ha to the Plateau de Sault. Made up of coniferous trees, it is one of the most beautiful in Ariège.

Set in the heart of a karstic massif, the Bélesta forest is one of the jewels of the Ariège. This hike takes you through the charming hamlets of Rieucourfant and Couquet, to the viewing platform for the Gouffre des Corbeaux. This hole is one of many in the massif, some of which are over 200 m deep.
